Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy will help you!
Trauma-informed yoga differs from traditional yoga by prioritizing safety, choice, and empowerment over perfecting poses.
While general yoga often focuses on physical fitness, trauma-informed yoga's primary goal is nervous system regulation and fostering emotional safety.
It creates a supportive environment with invitational language, no hands-on adjustments, and a focus on nervous system regulation and body awareness, rather than physical fitness.
It is built on the principle that every cue is an invitation, not a command, which is crucial for individuals who may have experienced a lack of control.
